Walking Club we will be following the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services walking program for beginners. Over the next several months, our walking distances will slowly increase until we are ready to walk a 5K together in May 2017! Each participant will receive a walker's manual that includes a training schedule. Join the Walking Club whether or not you plan on walking the 5K at the Marathon. All are welcome! Mondays, 11:00am, Wednesdays, 5:30pm.
Morning Stretch with Kristy a gentle stretch class that consists of non-strenuous movements designed to gently stretch skeletal muscles, release tension in the body, and deeply relax the nervous system. Fridays, Feb. 24, 9:00-10:00am
Nia Movement combines 52 simple moves with dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts that focuses on wellness of body, mind, emotion, and spirit. Nia is non-impact, practiced barefoot, and adaptable to individual needs and abilities. Classes are designed to leave you energized, mentally clear, and emotionally balanced.
